EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMMES AND SHORT COURSES IN PROCUREMENT
The executive education programmes in procurement are one-week (5day) courses while the stand-alone short courses are designed as 2- to 3-week courses. Both are inter-disciplinary professional and proficiency capacity building programmes for developing human resources and capacity in managing procurement in both the public and private sectors.
CURRICULUM FOR CERTIFICATE IN PROCUREMENT
The aim of this three-month course is to provide participants with:
Additional capacity to manage the planning processes associated with the procurement of goods, services and works; aditional skills to improve communication, negotiation and personal professional development skills required by those involved in advanced level procurement; and
Improved capacity to manage the evaluation, contract development, and contract administration processes associated with advanced level procurement.

CURRICULUM FOR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN PROCUREMENT
The Bachelor of Science Degree in procurement will prepare its students for management positions in the procurement cadre in the public and private sectors after graduation. It would seek to bridge the identified gap in human resource capacity in the procurement profession within the Nigerian economy. The programme will balance theory and practice in procurement to prepare graduates to meet future challenges and create new synergies across disciplines that are relevant in today’s changing manufacturing and service sectors. Graduates of the programme will have the ability to manage procurement both in the private and public sectors, towards, achieving higher levels of service delivery, business performance and profitability. Some among the graduates would expectedly proceed to read for higher degrees to prepare them for academic positions in the sub-specialization of procurement.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROCUREMENT
The Postgraduate Diploma programme is to provide remedial training in basic courses in procurement to prepare graduates of universities or equivalent qualifications of those who did not have first degrees in procurement and related programmes to either pursue postgraduate degree programmes in that field of of study or seek employment in the procurement industry.
MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN PROCUREMENT
Besides the need to bridge the manpower gap in procurement, there is the need to also develop the critical mass of human capital needed to properly teach procurement students at the university level and to competently drive procurement activities at managerial level in both the private and public sectors of the economy. This BMAS is designed to lead to the award of a Master of Science Degree in Procurement. It is expected that it would adequately prepare graduates of the programme (by imparting them the requisite skills and expertise) to deal decisively with contemporary and future procurement challenges.
