INVITATION FOR ADMISSION INTO EXECUTIVE SHORT COURSE IN PERFORMANCE-BASED PROCUREMENT OF NON-CONSULTANCY SERVICES

The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards (SPESSE) of the University of Benin invites applications for admission into its Executive Short Course in Procurement standards.  SPESSE (UNIBEN) is a program strongly supported and approved by the World Bank and the National Universities Commission (NUC) for building capacity to address national development challenges in Procurement, Environmental, and Social Standards.

The Executive Short Course in Performance-Based Procurement of Non-Consultancy Services is the 6^th Course of a series of upcoming Courses and it is a five (5) days capacity development program for private practitioners, public servants, civil society personnel and graduates who are engaged in procurement and allied responsibilities (Accounting, Auditing, Supply Chain Management, Planning etc).

Date: 29^th August – 2^nd September 2022

Time: 9:30 am each day.

Venue:  Seminar Hall, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department,

University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

Information for those interested in Advanced Diploma in Procurement Management:

• Those who received the Certificate of Completion earlier are encouraged to apply for upcoming workshops if and only if they are interested in the Advanced Diploma Programme in Procurement
• The basic requirement here is that candidates must have completed ten modules or courses. The alternative to getting the Advanced Diploma is to register for the nine months programme.

Please Note:

• No training and registration fees for public servants i.e. Federal, State, Local government and Parastatals.
• Attendance due to hall capacity will be strictly on first come first serve basis.
